Florida county Republican Party votes to ban the COVID-19 vaccine

https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/florida-county-republican-party-votes-to-ban-the-covid-19-vaccine/

MIAMI - The "Ban the jab" resolution passed with a majority vote in the Lee County Republican Party and will now head to Governor Ron DeSantis' desk.

This comes after a member of the Lee County Republican Party wrote a resolution for the executive committee to consider. Joe Sansone argued the risks of the COVID vaccine are not worth it.

Sansone so far as to label the vaccine a bioweapon.

"The Lee County Republican Party is going to be on the vanguard of this campaign to stop the genocide because we have foreign non governmental entities that are unleashing biological weapons on the American people," he said.

Because the Republican Party of Lee County has no power per so, DeSantis can just ignore it if he chooses.

What about bleach, and interal UV lights?

The GQP will simply not hear of banning these medical miracles.

What’s the purpose in wanting their constituents to potentially die from lack of access to vaccines? Start with Covid vaccines, what will they decide to ban next? All vaccines?

When I heard about this n then read about it, I called the Lee county republican office n was told it was to end the vaccines mandate. But “mandate” was never in the printed information or verbal announcement so I was lied to. When I pushed the woman for more info, she informed me it was just a committee meeting but there were over 200 people voting. I told her that people who don’t want vaccines don’t have to get one..don’t like that book..don’t read it but these proposals ban what some don’t like for everyone. Well..that didn’t go far so I just hung up. It’s getting worse here in Florida n the republicans are chocking us w/ their support for the governor.

This has absolutely no legitimate legislative meaning, just a bunch of people getting together in no official capacity and writing a proposal and voting on it, and saying 'lets send it to the Governor'!

It's a fucking joke, top to bottom.

Granted you'd think ANYONE has better things to do than pull ridiculous political stunts like this.

Including CBS for taking the time cover this nonsense.

in that medieval state. Guess the little dictator and his sycophants consider medical science and it's development of lifesaving vaccinations woke...and they can't have that.

Who's more apt to get sick and die if unvaccinated? Old people. But they keep on voting these assholes in.
