Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWill someone go to court to stop Tucker Carlson's J6 footage marathon?
I'm surprised there hasn't been a court order yet to stop what McCarthy has handed over to Tuckweed Carlson. Is this going to go unfettered? Certainly, McCarthy had no right to do this. Is this not corruption at the highest level?
I really hope some lawyer out there (maybe one reading here) will soon make a court motion or lawsuit to stop this. The danger of what McCarthy has done is beyond belief.

(11,446 posts)... security has been mentioned many times in all the news stories. There's also the fact that no news outlets were offered them. (Fox doesn't count.)

Presumably the Senate Democrats could release the same video to a media outlet of their choice.

One would think that those tapes would be property of the National Archives and be made available to any news organization that would want to view them.
If they were capture by camera's in and around the Capitol Bldg - I would assume that us taxpayers paid for them and that they shouldn't be turned over to any ONE organization - but to be shared across all.

And, of course, he could have had the entire House vote on it if he needed to.
