13. Those Jimmy Carter cartoons got me a little choked up.

He wasn’t appreciated when he was in power. Maybe because he didn’t have the “pizazz” that people expected - especially when that big slick-talking, pompadour’d prune came along with his “dear old harmless Uncle Dutch” schtick and lurched America into the politics of selfishness under the spell of the knuckle-dragging “right”.

We’re STILL recovering from the mess that bastard made, and sold so skillfully, more than 40 years later.

For starters, I don't get the Dahl reference and who's that sitting inside the house?

Not sure about the Dahl reference either. The artist is Dave Rowe of the (Australian) Financial Review.

Also, the chair's upholstery has the colors and symbols of the Chinese flag.

Also #2, I know how Rowe depicts Xi from a lot of his cartoons that are too Australia-politics to post here (not enough people would recognize the persons and issues).
