What else can you say? They do not know where it came from. These objects are there since 2017 or earlier. If it was of alien origin, and if he says that, people will be calling him delusional. If he says, he does not know, it sounds incompetent. This is the best he or anyone can do. Report from a pilot who said they were up there without propulsion was strange. That probably says something.

No way Biden was going to reveal sensitive information. Until the downed objects are analyzed, there is not a lot to talk about.

Remember the Benghazi attack? In the immediate aftermath, UN Ambassador Susan Rice first said the U.S. didn't have much information on the attack, but opined that maybe it had something to do with that god-bothering yutz who put out a video designed to inflame Muslim fundamentalists. As the facts developed, it turned out that the attack wasn't tied to that video, but boy oh boy, the media and the Republicans couldn't let that go, and even today, you'll see some "serious" pundits and reporters refer to it.

Having learned the lesson about speculating, the Biden administration isn't going to do that again for the satisfaction of reporters who want something to complain about. So they'll complain that the administration doesn't hand them something to complain about.

It's a jolly game.
