1. Yes, I am grateful

To those who gave me hearts.

In the words of Helen Thomas when the trifling Bush Administartion moved “her out of her front row seat in the press room. I sent her an email telling her how much I supported her. Shocked that she answered me,” It is so nice to have friends!,”

President Obama not only put her back in the front row , came out, gave her a birthday cake, hugged her and sat down beside her.

This is my lead in to,” It is nice to have classy friends!”

I was fortunate enough to meet her at one of the regional news conventions. Very distinguished. She always formally closed every presidential press conference, and sat right in front on the center aisle if there ever was one. When that voice piped up with “Thank you, Mr. President”, it was over. Hers was the last voice you heard.

3. Good to know!

I was a lifelong fan! What and amazing Reporter she was! I never had any use for him, but that cemented my disgust.

The Democrat party has always stood tall for me. I am proud to be a part of it and DU!
