Our country's biggest problem: Unserious people being taken seriously.

Like a Loony Toons cartoon, it was inevitable that idiotic Dipshits would play a game of "shoot it now, shoot it later, don't shoot it at all" with this Chinese Balloon bullshit. Unfortunately, those idiotic Dipshits aren't the drunk morons at the Moose Lodge in Dumbfuckistan, 'Murika, or your uncle pontificating philosophically after a half-dozen PBRs. No! These are idiotic Dipshits that have real power.

Of course, since enough of your moronic neighbors and family members gave those Dipshits power, the MSM absolutely "MUST" report breathlessly about their opinions.

One thing missing from those media reports, is the one-thing most critical to this entire outrageous clown-show.

That issue is simply this - These people are completely UNSERIOUS people. By their very actions and statements, they have shown that they don't deserve one-fucking-second of our serious thoughts.

It's not "news" to cover ignorance, but that's exactly what our news does.

Reporting on morons with rifles saying they are "going to shoot down" a fucking balloon hovering at 60,000 feet is fucking fantasy.

Treating Retrumplican cartoon characters as "serious" people, with "serious" opinions is criminal.

The media might as well get people like Marge Green, Paul Gosar, Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley and the hundreds of other Dipshits that tried to violently destroy American Democracy, to share their opinions on the importance of supporting Democracy.

The media might as well treat Gym Jordan's "respect for Congressional Subpoenas" as a fucking serious thing.

But wait...THE FUCKING MEDIA "IS" DOING EXACTLY THAT

I have been forced to take a bunch of ignorant dipshits seriously, that I know with every fiber of my being, deserve not one-fucking-second of my serious thoughts.

You just know that those ignorant fucksticks are going to bring balloons to the SOTU, because these are entirely unserious people, with unserious supporters, that spew unserious policies.

It's way past the time to treat them as the cartoon-characters they are.

You know, one of these "journalist-interviewing-journalist" examples of the media equivalent of mutual masturbation.

Anyway, the guys entire breathless pontification was how this "balloon completely blew up the entire SOTU".

That's NOT "news", that's trying to push the narrative that the "entire SOTU" has been "blown-up".

You could see and feel the glee...AND THE HOPE that every other serious, important and historical thing that President Biden and the Democratic Party has achieved in the past 2 years, was simply blown up by a fucking balloon.

"Chaos Agent," and a High School drop out, Bang Bang Barbie, debating medical science with

Look at what they all lead with, look at the similarities right down to using the same code words on every network.

They are fucking morons, or pretend to be ones, to get the votes of other morons, but they are serious. Being in power is serious business, and it is good business, whether you have a GED or a PhD. By hook or by crook, it propels you into the upper classes.

They couldn't care less whether to shoot it now, shoot it later, not shoot it at all. Their pronouncements are deliberately self-contradictory to cover all possible outcomes, so no matter the consequences, at the end of the day they are sure to have a video clip that shows them say whatever benefits them most at any particular moment, and play them again and again to their adoring fans, the real morons of any significance, glued to the screens of their TVs permanently stuck on the Fox channel. And all that the Fox watching morons want is the constant validation of their own stupidity as a supreme virtue.

And that's how Fox makes their shitloads of cash. Their business is to deliver gullible morons to their advertisers, not to be partisan or political. Fox will push what their morons demand, whether it's shoot it now, shoot it later, don't shoot it at all, or all three in rapid succession and in no particular order.

This does not necessarily prove absence of seriousness or intellect on the part of the actors who play their part in this shitshow. It's just that the two are irrelevant to how the shitshow is playing out. It's a closed feedback loop that gives something of value to every participant.

Remember when Dan Abrams was on NBC? It would have to be 15 or 20 years ago, and I liked his stories. He wasn't politically biased then, or at least he stayed within NBC News' boundaries. He mostly did legal stories, trials, political protests, Supreme Court rulings, and the like. Once he went to the podcast, the barriers went down.

In the Bizarro World of "Htrae", society is ruled by the Bizarro Code which states "Us do opposite of all Earthly things! Us hate beauty! Us love ugliness! Is big crime to make anything perfect on Bizarro World!"

In one episode, for example, a salesman is doing a brisk trade selling Bizarro bonds: "Guaranteed to lose money for you". Later, the mayor appoints Bizarro #1 to investigate a crime, "Because you are stupider than the entire Bizarro police force put together". This is intended and taken as a great compliment.

"We" give airtime to conspiracy theorists who attack vaccines, deny that the earth is round, deny climate change is real and/or harmful, claim that there's a "deep state" cabal trying to get right-wingers, big pharma is transing children, etc. Those kind of people have always existed of course, but they used to be ridiculed or at least ignored by sane and rational people. Now, they get put on TV/Media up against sane and rational people as a "counterpoint" to people providing factual information and both are seen as equally valid points of view.

by being given attention, media is definitely creating the appearance that both sides are equally valid. And what's worse is that it's difficult for sane and rational people to deal with that sort of insanity. Conspiracy theorists won't accept any evidence that rebuts their claims.
