I guess "imminent" doesn't mean "soon"

Anymore.

I knew this was going to happen. All these cases will just keep floating around and go nowhere.

For reasons that remain opaque to me he has managed to stay a free man for 40+ years despite overt criminal activity.

This timeline is exhausting.

Just making the point that we should hold them accountable. I didn't say it was "imminent" she did.

It's completely fair to acknowledge the fact that he has managed to avoid even being charged with a crime for 40+ years for reasons that remain a mystery.

It's not wrong to ask questions and the "just wait and see" or "any day now" retorts is becoming a little ridiculous. It's been years. It's time to either say yes or no on the subject and be done with it and whatever repercussions there are with that decision.

That is the source of the "imminent' wording that you chose to deride - correct? So - mockery, but not necessarily 'beating up?'

In any event - your 'contribution' has been noted.

We're not allowed to notice that nothing happened "imminently?"

Because it didn't.

Sure, that's what they always say. But when I go out and look at the night sky, all I see is Andromeda just sitting there doing nothing.

You would think that at 120 miles per second it shouldn't take 4 billion years. Will Andromeda ever be held accountable for this egregious delay?

Call me a skeptic, but I will believe it when I see it.

used the term soon, shortly or imminent, but it seems like him getting papers served on him is way over due.
Did he use some under the table money to make everything disappear?

Willis is the only prosecutor I am aware of who has said that indictments of targets of her investigation are imminent.

Were you referring to Willis, or something else?

My read on her is that she is basically a good person who wants to do the right thing. I don't want to believe that she wants to play games at this level. So I will give her another week with my fingers crossed. I will let the wordsmiths decide if Imminent equals soon. A week from now would be soon enough for me. Although I am chomping at the bit.
