Employment is up. GDP is up. Markets are up. Inflation is down.

Joe Biden might not be the hero America deserves but he's the hero it needs. Thank you, President Biden.

Maybe they can interview some older rural white male Christian gun humpers in Nebraska diners to find out.

NPR led with "a Recession is still coming" in announcing the GDP numbers. The narrative is fixed across the MSM.

A Recession isn't going to be good for Biden's reelection bid.

I did not say 2 years to the day.

The Dow reached 36,952 on Jan 5, 2022. Maybe I should have said over the last one year to make you happy. Anyone who reads "the markets are up" would either laugh or question as I did "up from when?"

I did not pull 2 years out of the air. Those were YOUR terms.
I followed your rules & now you want to change them.
How convenient. Quite lazy, too.

He has NOT:

Cured cancer
Cured the common cold
Eliminated poverty worldwide
Scheduled live coverage for the second coming of Christ
Kissed Donald Trump's ass live on the evening news
Switched his voter registration to Republican

Therefore, in Republicanworld, their chant is: "lock him up!"
(OK, so no one ever accused them of being original)

Just a capable, competent, career government employee who made it to the top just in time to fix what TFG broke.
Now we need to get the House back and hold the Senate and White House in 2024 so we can continue the job.
The Republicans wrecked so much. It's going to take quite a while to fix what they broke.
We can't afford to let Wreck-it Donnie back into the Oval Office ever again.

Only noted philosopher Morbo truly gets it:

Sure, by several measures, it looks like the country is climbing out of the hole we were left in by the former guy, but it's just not so, because reasons. And all those cheery economists who were predicting a full blown recession by the end of 2022 were incredibly wrong, but it's not like it's their job to be right.

As long as we’re still celebrating economic growth (especially in high-consumption countries), we are not applying our best thinking.
