Pence LOL

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/24/classified-documents-found-at-mike-pence-home.html

Lawyers for former Vice President Mike Pence said a “small number” of classified documents were found at his home in Indiana last week.
The classified documents were discovered on Jan. 16 after Pence had outside counsel “with experience in handling classified documents” search his own home and records.
Both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are currently under investigations by two separate special counsels for their handling of classified materials.

It's actually not funny and it does raise the question that a better accounting system needs to be instituted for classified documents but it is funny due to Pence's pontificating on the issue of classified documents.

from being accountable to Congress re the Biden papers. I don't think Garland will give a rip if Congress investigates Pence, hence no SC.

So there's got to be a zillion more who have docs. Plus no effective system, no one in charge of docs

This new revelation may tamp down the feeding frenzy on Joe Biden's situation, particularly since like Biden, outside counsel was invited to search Pence's residence. Of course, the document find shreds Pence's self-righteous attitude/comments toward Biden's case.

What's not funny is the handling of the classified docs, per se. Either the Government has gone overboard in classifying (something I've read numerous times) or we're really sloppy in preserving the country's historical record and national security matters.

Trump's case is a whole different ballgame; he willfully took the document boxes, claimed they were his and refused to give them back.

Mine, mine, mine!

The fact the US doesn't have a reliable tracking and recording system in place is . . . ridiculous!

Not a good look for any Administration.

What's wrong (besides outright criminality, like by DRUMPF) is the (agency?) not even knowing things were missing.
