Boebert was of Faux Noise, and they were talking to her about the deficit and all these votes. Boebert actually said something to the effect of, "But we don't have a speaker" like that is going to make a difference. Dear Lauren, you do notice that the building is open, the clerks are working hard, Security is on Duty, all of that costs money. Kind of like shutting down the Government costs money.

Just look at all the threads here everyday demanding that the Democrats do things that would require control of both houses of congress, or a way to break the fillibuster, or even a constitutional ammendment.

In the spirit of the season, I am reminded of Dickens:

“This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased.”

Though it may be by the direction of malevolance, it will be ignorance that will kill this country.
