I read an article, I apologize, I forget where, that several House Magats who are on the Intelligence and Armed Services committees have been shut off from intelligence, shut off from the daily intelligence briefings information. One Magat member was crying that he wasn't allowed to attend a meeting he had scheduled with one of our generals.
Intelligence access is being denied because there are no official House members yet, they need to be sworn in and officially assigned committees.
The clusterfuck is only beginning. Our country is in a perilous situation, I can't wait for this fall when the debt ceiling needs raised.

(20,699 posts)Remember the video link of V Zelenskyy where his advisor asked congress not to take pictures/videos for his security. Several of the magats did it anyways.
J6 involvement should keep them off the daily intelligence briefing forever.

Perfectly fine to enjoy these people temporary anguish and embarrassment (richly deserved) - but it is of course temporary.

Scott Perry of Pa. was deeply involved in the fake elector scheme, was even interviewed by the FBI, I believe. Just imagine Scott Perry becoming the 3rd highest ranking official in America. These traitors have not been held accountable they are carrying on with the insurrection.

I'm not saying we should lock the doors, like a papal conclave, but close to that.
The house has important business to do, like investigating Hunter's laptop, Hillary's emails, and the Jan 6 committee's violation of the Geneva convention when it comes to torture and interrogation of innocent protesters.
Not to mention the stoppage of funding for Ukraine.
