but 1 of my sister moved to mke, and raised her 4 kids there. many visits to beertown.

People who think in terms of "voting blue" don't need to be convinced to do so. The average low information voter won't see "Blue" anywhere on their ballot. say "Vote Democratic".

28. Both Fox Rivers start in Wisconsin

The one that runs south into Illinois begins west and a bit north of Milwaukee. The first few miles are mostly wet treks through marshes.

Waukesha, the first city of size once the river looks like a stream reminds me a lot of Elgin, where I grew up. Lots of curvy streets, 3, 4 and 5 street intersections, and one-way streets that mean you can't get there from here without driving a pretzel pattern.

Also both cities have large bluffs on the west side of the river. Back in the day in both towns, the streets going up these bluffs were great places to learn how to use a clutch at steeply up-hill stop sign ( a feature that also reminds me of Athens GA).

I think there was, maybe is, a canoe race on the south flowing Fox from about Waukesha, WI to Aurora IL.

I saw the expected number of Michaels/Johnson signs. However, saw more Dem signs (Evers/Barnes) signs than what is typical. Good to see signs for Mandela in very white rural Wisconsin.

He is the northern equivalent of Penzi Spice out of Milwaukee.
He really puts his money where his mouth is in a very Conservative part of the State.

Seriously though. My husband and I do Beercations visiting as many breweries across the country as possible. We have been to over 1,500 of them.
One thing I can tell you is that if you brew good beer, your politics don’t matter. Most of the ones I’ve been too have been unabashedly inclusive. Lots of Pride flags, Black Lives Matter signs. But just as many American flags, and veteran/military friendly signs.
I haven’t been to the Minocqua Brewery in quite a few years, so I can’t say if it’s made a difference, but I would say make good beer, don’t preach your politics, and you will have a successful business.

with Coors beer. Some would say that it has been a successful business. And it is widely acknowledged that the Coors corporation has unabashedly supported far right wing causes for decades. I don't know where you personally draw the line at preaching politics, but I think that a lot of people would say that if money is speech, then the Adolph Coors corporation has been preaching.

30. Interesting, People in my part of WI would say that's mostly south of hwy 64

which is the boundary between central and northern WI. Around here people would say that's eastern central WI

East means east of where most of the potato agriculture takes place, and where dollars come from "FIB" touristy types.

North of hwy 64 is also typically considered 'The Ceded Territories' which by treaty provide specified rights to indigenous people relative to timber, fishing and hunting.
