And Twitter is the most influential social media platform on the planet. Overall, it leans LIBERAL. Ignoring it won't make it go away, but it could conceivably over time turn the liberal lean in U.S. politics to a RW lean.
Did the Duke of Wellington really make a huge strategic mistake. and above all (!) betray his principles, by taking a stand at Waterloo even though he knew Napoleon and all his nasty French troops were going to be there?

It is a near instantaneous, global conversation. It can exaggerate the best and the worst. If un- or under-moderated, the worst will take it over. (See, e.g., those who were eventually, belatedly banned).

Links plus text would be ideal.
Screenshots do let non-twitter-users see the content, though.
