Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'Investigations' for Companies Not Donating to GOP

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, has promised "investigations" for corporations that stopped donating to GOP politicians who supported former President Donald Trump's claims of a "stolen" 2020 election.

Greene said during a Wednesday appearance on former Trump adviser Steve Bannon's War Room podcast that, should Republicans regain control of the House following next month's midterms, GOP representatives would target corporate donors that refused to continue financial support to those who supported claims of massive fraud in the last presidential election.

and who is behind it? Why it is the party that always cries "Free Speech" when a PRIVATE actor decides to distance themselves from Conservative toxicity.

The idiot is LITERALLY saying that they are planning to abuse their power and violate Freedom of Speech by using government authority to quell political support or punish people and corporations, simply because they do not like the speech.

I personally, do not like the idea of "corporate speech". I prefer that politicians actually have to talk about policies and goals without billions of dollars pouring in from who knows where. I want the people with the best ideas and policies to win, not the people with the biggest pockets. The thing is that as it stands now, Corporations are people and money is speech. Since that is the case, unless there are specific allegations of laws being broken, for Conservatives to "investigate" solely companies who stopped donating to GOP politicians seems to be completely politically motivated and likely illegal.
