Asks everyone to hold up a hand if they have had a health problem, or a parent or child with a health problem.

(7,309 posts)He's so right. Oz is just another rich piggie like trump. Making fun of another's misfortune. Like the disabled reporter trump mocked. Sick.

(22,916 posts)He said, "I've got a Doctor reminding me every day that I had a stroke." He's actually a very droll joker. Funny guy.
It was a short appearance, not much but a basic statement for women's & lgbtq rights, and healthcare, and a promise that the PA dems are the party of freedom, and the gop aren't.

I believe that is also where the city had started putting a drop box for voting last year and I remember driving around it to see where they had put the box (may have been inside the building).
During the very first primary with the mail ballots, I actually went to a different interim drop location (AB Day School) and stood in line to drop off my ballot for the 2020 primary. I eventually mailed mine for the 2020 general, last year's primary/general, and this year's primary.

Looked like it was a good turnout and the weather was perfect for it. The voters in this area of NW Philly (9th , 22nd, and 50th Wards) have the highest consistent turnouts every election (including primaries) and are only matched by Center City.
ETA to add that after that rally, he had to go upstate to Bethlehem (about 60 miles north) to hold another rally with Susan Wild. So it was a "two-fer" that day.

(12,533 posts)That's all I need to know.
A big man with a big heart who's ready to throw himself into the fray for the sake of others. Unlike the Former Guy and his motley crew of candidates, Fetterman is the genuine article with experience and actual accomplishments to back up his words, professionally and personally.
It's a choice between the real and the fake, substance and guile.
Can't wait to cast my vote!
Btw, my corner of Delaware County, PA is awash in signs supporting the Democratic ticket, particularly Fetterman and Shapiro. I realize it's a rough measurement but it makes me smile every time I roam the neighborhood.
