We have to hold this seat because it gives Dems another vote if the 2024 Presidential election gets thrown to the House. The breakdown with the Alaska pickup is 26 R 21 D and 3 tied. It goes without saying that this is deeply undemocratic as the population of the D states vastly outnumbers the population of the blue states.

Palin again will be her opponent.

Since Begich won't be on the ballot, those Begich/Peltola voters should go to her. Chris Hayes reported on his show that Palin's former in-laws threw a big campaign bash for Begich. It seems there might be enough Dems plus Palin-hating Rs for Peltola to win again in Nov.
