Bruce Reinhart, the federal judge in Florida who signed the warrant allowing the FBI to raid former President Donald Trumps Mar-a-Lago property on Tuesday, has been hit with a wave of antisemitic threats online.
The outburst has appeared on right-wing social media platforms and message boards, where users have published the judges name, address and personal information. Threats have been directed at his children and supposed family members as well.
Reinhart, who appears to be a member of the board of Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens, has been a magistrate judge for the Southern District of Florida since 2018.
Calls for violence have accompanied antisemitic slurs and conspiracy theories, many referencing how Reinhart represented former employees of Jeffrey Epstein during a case involving the late convicted sex trafficker in 2008. Prior to the Epstein case, Reinhart worked as a federal prosecutor and then in a private practice until 2018.

(25,818 posts)democratic idiots come out of the woodwork and show everybody in America just how toxic they truly are, and that they threaten Americans everywhere w/ their rhetoric, their hate, and everything else that these thugs are known for.
.they freaked out about a lawful executed search warrant;
.threatened the FBI and DOJ without knowing any of the particulars of the executed search warrant;
.threatened other FBI offices in other locations (nail gun), etc.;
.threatened to cut the DOJ's budget down to zero (some of the other side's legislators threatened this, despicable);
.here, in this article, they're threatening the judge who signed the search warrant;
And I'm sure more negative stuff will continue to happen. When stuff like this happens, totally legal, the crazies all seem to come out of the woodwork or underneath the rocks.
In a way, as long as no one gets hurt, this is a good thing, for these people will be caught, prosecuted, and if guilty, fined and/or some jail time, depending upon their threats.

(Not making light of the threats; just a bit of comic relief from the continuous tension by the shit-slingers)
