We have more mass murder in this country than any other country on the planet. It is
heartbreaking and infuriating. There has to be some way to mitigate these horrific acts.
I agree this is a complex problem which requires complex solutions. First, an all out ban
on assault weapons. I wont argue what is and what is not an assault weapon. We all know
know what Im talking about here. These weapons are designed to kill humans efficiently.
There needs to be a real background check done on anyone who attempts to buy a gun.
This would include a real examination of medical records. HIPPA protection would have to be
waved to complete the background check. We would need a national database of violent
offenders.
We need a strong system of Red Flag laws. See something say something. I know that Red
Flag laws can be misused but that is a small price to pay in my opinion.
Lastly the Congressmen who oppose these type of laws should singled out for very close
scrutiny . Their faces should be on TV every day. The DNC should be happy to pay the bill
for that.
Contact your representatives in Congress and vote.
