According to Greene, women are weak and the property of their husbands.Link to tweet
Why do people go into politics? For some, its a calling and a desire to make a difference in their constituents lives. For others, its to do things like cut taxes for the rich and go to bat for pharmaceutical executives. For freshman representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, its to have a platform from which to spout every unhinged thought that comes into her brain, and elicit responses like Wow, thats messed up and Hey, maybe this person shouldnt be allowed near the room where bills are voted on and What the hell is wrong with her?
For example, at a gathering over the weekend, Greene took the time to suggest that women are defined by being property of men. Responding to Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jacksons refusal to be dragged into the GOPs culture war du jourduring her confirmation hearing, Jackson declined to provide a definition of a woman for anti-trans Tennessee senator Marsha BlackburnGreene told the Georgia Republican Assembly, Im going to tell you right now what is a woman. We came from Adams rib. God created us with his hands. We may be the weaker sex, we are the weaker sex, but we are our partners, our husbands, wife".

How much did the men pay her to say that?
Can not stand this woman.

What a confused, conflicted hot mess.
And dumb as a rock. She called for marshall law on J6, and doesn't know the diff between gazpacho and Gestapo. Called Romney and Collins pro-pedophile and still preaches the trump's big lie.

(8,332 posts)Tell that to all the woman who take a job to help the family make ends meet, while raising several kids, cleaning a house, and cooking the family meals.
Tell that to all the women who did all that while pregnant.
Tell that to all the women who's love holds the family together.
I think they're the stronger sex.

(33,643 posts)Right, Marge, and that's why all fetuses are anatomically female until months into development. That's why they have matching chromosomes (XX) and males do not.
"Males" evolved into existence because sexual reproduction creates diversity through meiosis, and genetic diversity is required for a species survival.
Females are the baseline examples of every species, and in no possible universe should someone logically conclude that males preceded females.
That idea is ridiculous on its face.
And so is MTG.

I dont know who they are but I sure wish I did and I hope they get out in one of these days. Boebert and Marge literally had the same talent agent. It does not bode very well that I have to do is be loud and Democrats to win in some places. Madisons area in a perfectly fabulous human being who is my name, a veteran of many years and an unmistakably decent human , Moe Davis. But no.

(11,767 posts)From what we know about our evolutionary cousins, they did live difficult lives, but other than what they did for the sake of survival, they appeared to be intelligent and relatively peaceful people. They are not the savage, dumb caricatures that have been portrayed in cartoons and movies.
Greene is just an exceptionally immoral Homo Sapiens.

Her husband needs to reel her in then. Take off her shoes, and get her pregnant.

Perhaps that's an individual thing, as each woman becomes what she feels is right for her.

I swear she is like Amy Comey Barrett in some of what she says. Barrett will follow the constitution, which wouldn't allow her to even be on the SC. MTG - if she belongs to her husband, why is she in Congress and not in her husband's house?

(1,962 posts)I'm not sure you fit into my "definition of a woman"... You sure don't fit into my definition of a human being.. More like my definition of a monster.. Of demon spawn... You came from Hell, and I wish you'd go back there already.
"Why do people go into politics?" For monsters like her and the modern QOP, it's to inflict pain and misery upon people they don't like. Seriously. They aren't here to help.. They're here to hurt. They can't go a day without hurting. Misery brings them joy.
"We may be the weaker sex..." Naw.. Just the weaker party. Helping others takes strength. Weaklings hurt people to feel better. And no one is as weak as a modern Republiqan.
