and it's primary drivers are covid supply chain issues and now Russian war in Ukraine/sanctions.

I have no doubt they would love for inflation to go higher and are trying, but the reality is that inflation is largely out of anyone's control right now.

6. Prices have increased globally. That doesn't mean US corporations aren't taking advantage.

The articles I have read indicate that they are making record profit. So while their costs may have went up, the prices they are chargibg are well above the amount to cover those costs

I'm never going to defend corporations, but I still maintain the biggest contributor to inflation goes back to Econ 101, lowered supply, higher demand equals higher prices.
