Fox News personalities were slammed after Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) read into the congressional record text messages sent by network personalities on Jan. 6 urging then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to get Trump stop his supporters from storming the capitol on Jan. 6.
The FOX network and its stars were blasted for privately blaming Trump for his insurrection while publicly blaming Antifa.

(17,494 posts)It's going to be interesting when she's calling the shots in that party. Not that they won't still have odious positions on the issues, but at least the Trumpers will either be gone or subdued. Can't wait to see how she deals with Jordan, Brooks, Cawthorn, Cruz, and Hawley, among others.

(16,525 posts)He organized his pack of bloodthirsty traitors, incited them to a fever pitch and then sent them off to murder Pence and Pelosi. It's only logical FOX News personalities believed only Trump could call off his dogs.

They where appealing to Meadows to have TFG shut it down.
Won't they use that to say - see we weren't in on this plan. We wanted TFG to stop it.
Don't their texts inoculate them from any colusion with TFG or the plan?
