In the past, I have shoveled a path through the snow across the lawn for the carrier; imagining a carrier walking on uneven snow piles in December-March with the street lamps casting insufficient light in the dark sounds like knee and ankle injuries just waiting.

2. I paid my credit card bill by phone today

due to DeJoy. I usually pay by mail but all were lost several months ago. I guess supporting the USPS is now something I have to think about in the future thanks to DeJoy. The person at Mastercard understood and she said she has heard of this a lot more lately. Is DeJoy's goal to make the USPS go private or to destroy it altogether?

I just spent a week making my Christmas cards (I make each one by hand...2 1/2 hours each) and will send them out 2 weeks earlier than I usually do. Maybe I should make it 3 weeks earlier. Ho, ho ,ho...

3. Happened to me a few weeks ago too. I thought someone was rummaging around on my porch.

It was the mailman , pitch dark. Felt so sorry for the poor guy.
