(17,486 posts)There's no ambiguity about where she stands on the real issues and what she thinks of the 'issues' that were created by the GOP. If they don't elect her in that district, they don't deserve her.

(337 posts)A positive, 'here's what I want to do' ad. We need more Dr. Andrews types to run for political office and more Democrats to adopt the positive. Tell us what's in the BIF, how it helps the average American and why we should support it and the Party. Let the Republicans sell the negative to the wing nutzBut, why the fear of party labels. The ad, as most political ads now, does not identify her party affiliation. It's alluded to in many ways. But, why hide it? Letting people know that Democrats are caring, thoughtful people with sympathy an empathy is a good thing, IMHO.

(42,862 posts)I loved that one line: "And is more interested in being famous than effective." WOW! That's gonna leave a mark!
It's unfortunate that Republican Nancy Mace isn't the only politician who feels that way and behaves that way. We need to elect more strong Democrats who are focused more on LEGISLATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS. Politicians need to be more concerned about getting RESULTS rather RETWEETS and new twitter followers.
This is a great ad from Annie Andrews... I hope she does well.

(34,435 posts)She let Shannon Faulkner be the one to endure the abuse of being the first female to attend The Citadel, and then waltzed right in after Faulkner left, knowing that Shannon was going to be the one to receive the brunt of that abuse. She's just a more refined version of Lauren Boobert.
Let's also not forget that Mace faked vandalism of her property by "Antifa" prior to the election. Unfortunately, she got away with it.

(6,699 posts)But anywhere we have a decent shot at outing a gQp stooge...WE and the DNC need to spend the support!
And where we are dealing with a solid red districts...the DNC needs to have a decent minimum of support to "GET OUT THE MESSAGE". There are always progressives in red districts. We can't lose them...and with positive, constructive messaging, we can give them hope and maybe persuade a few "independents" to our cause.
I am registered to vote in a WA district that has a gQp stooge, herrera-buetler, as a US rep. She is vulnerable, just like this district.
We need to go on the offensive. Provide quality candidates, and get out the vote. Increase our majority and take 52+ Senate seats so we can move forward...FINALLY!

(4,002 posts)That highlights the humanity of the candidate. After the debacle in Virginia (parents should stay out of schools?) and the focus on "parents rights" to control their kids this is the perfect type of candidate.

(1,282 posts)...running in that particular distinct in that part of SC. When she says she'll be honest, that's great, but she also has to know this will be the main area of attack on her early on. All it takes is one gaffe or misstatement to sink a candidate. Eventually she's going to get baited into having to talk about CRT and the 2nd Amendment, so she should be formulating those answers now.

I gave $5 to get me on her email list. I tipped ActBlue $1 because they make it so easy to donate to Democrats.
