In a statement issued by the Washington DC police department to FOX 5, police confirmed it appeared the officers had been racing prior to the crash.

'Preliminarily, it appears the members may have been racing the vehicles, resulting in an accident.'

Police say four officers from the Sixth District were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Fox 5 reported that all four officers involved in the crash have been placed on non-contact pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

I was told the department blocked it to avoid blowing engines and transmissions by asshole cops racing the things.

4. I had two young male coworkers who left to become cops.

Both of them were reckless knuckleheads who struck me as the type of people who might do something like this.

I keep anticipating to see one of them in the news for shooting somebody.

The biggest bully at my Dad's high school eagerly joined the military during WW2 because he wanted to kill people, as overheard by my father. He later became one of the soldiers photographed raising the USA flag at Iwo Jima who was subsequently killed.
