Tammy Duckworth just told me she's voting NO on Biden nominees until President makes commitment...

Tammy Duckworth just told me she’s voting NO on Biden nominees until President makes commitment/ appoints AAPI picks to key executive branch positions. She said found it “insulting” that a senior WH aide last night pointed to Harris’ South Asian roots when asked about AAPI picks

Senator Hirono just said on MSNBC that she will follow Senator Duckworth's lead on this.

It is bad enough to deal with the GOP...now Democrats are going to do this? This needs to stop. I like Sen. Duckworth but I am not please about this sort of thing.

Not questioning Hirono nor Duckworth's valid point, just what was "told by an aide" to a reporter, rather than Biden himself.

I'll wait.

it's important that the positions be filled quickly.

We're now over 2 months in, with the Republicans succeeding in delaying the confirmations of many positions.

I didn't know Biden was such an enemy of diversity that Duckworth is forced to empower the Republicans.

from getting fully staffed. She did not win the presidency Biden did. It is his decision. You never see the GOP engaging in this shit.
