"If [bipartisan agreement] proves impossible and Republicans continue to abuse the filibuster by requiring cloture votes, Im open to changing the way the Senate filibuster rules are used."

This is a big one. California Sen. Dianne Feinstein has been among the Democrats most adamantly against changing the filibuster until now. @DKElections' spreadsheet tracks where every Dem caucus member stands https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10CeJAtw7l-G-L7iTZo6QV8zRUD6jfi3qVI5U_IM_JhM/edit#gid=0

Those days are long in the past, sadly.

and ability to finish out the term have given Sen Feinstein a little nudge toward cooperation. Just a thought.
