Murdoch's Wall Street Urinal Declares Trump's Political Death, Warns GOP to Move On or

'Remain in the Wilderness'

The Wall Street Journal, owned by Rupert Murdoch, argued Sunday night that although the Senate didn't convict Donald Trump in the trial over his second impeachment, the former president will never recover. The editorial also made it clear that anyone still clinging to Trump may never recover, either.

Trump would have been barred from running again had he been convicted, but the Journal's editorial board doesn't anticipate a problem there: "He may run again, but he won't win another national election," the subheading on the piece read.

The editorial went on to warn Republican officials not to align themselves with a figurehead who is fading from relevance.

"The country is moving past the Trump Presidency, and the GOP will remain in the wilderness until it does too," the WSJ editorial board wrote.

But where are the racists, misogynists and homophobes going to go?

2. I agree with the "Journal's" prediction of trump's, and the republican party's future.

He's got so many legal and debt problems he won't have time to run for office again. And the way people are leaving the republican party just shows their utter disgust.

And when you're disgusting to republicans, you have to be REALLY disgusting.

I still blame the Wall Street Journal’s editorial department for helping the rightward lurch in American politics and I believe they’re just about as clueless in their way as Susan Sarandon.

The American Experiment got a four year reprieve but the forces that sought to destroy it are still as entrenched as ever in statehouses across the nation.

I’ll believe that the QGOP is on its way out when Texas and North Carolina flip blue and angry voters sideline people like DeSantis and Rubio.

Because when the Republican party doesn't toss Trump aside, the Wall Street Journal will be right there to cheer the Republicans on, come what may.

They will continue to feel right at home there after Trump is forgotten.

On the entire FOX stable of liars, conspiracy theorists, racists and fear-mongers. He might pitch or allow the writers and editors to pitch a reasonable play for the more erudite WSJ readers. But for the FOX audience, the coverage is all about eyeballs and $$$ and living another day against the fringe competitors outdoing FOX in the crazy department.

Murdock's not fooling anyone. He's no friend of democracy, Republicans or Democrats. Just the payout at the end of the day.
