I just wanted to make myself feel better for a moment:
Biden's cabinet is 12 men, 12 women - a record number of women; has more people of color than White people; and has 8 who are historic firsts in their roles.
No family members. No donors. No spouses or partners of Congressional leaders. No TV anchors or hosts.

(111,676 posts)1. Thank gawd... I thought this was going to be another post about some or another group suggesting
a 'lack of diversity'-- in what is shaping up to be the most diverse cabinet and administration on record. No, I don't see an Indo-American immigrant relocated from temporary refuge in Micronesia. But, other than that, seems a real sincere attempt is being made.

After five years of lying we finally have a president (elect) who keeps his promises. About time.
