Gavin Newsom
@GavinNewsom
His appointment will make history. But the @AlexPadilla4CA I know is far more interested in changing history -- especially for the working men and women of our state and country.
I can think of no one better to represent the state of California as our next United States Senator.

My dad, who would've been 100 today, made the right choice of parties. Or should I say my Sicilian grandparents did, when they switched from Republican to Democrat to vote for FDR. This is a smart choice as Padilla has proven he could win statewide office and he's an MIT grad so he's "wicked smaht" as they say in those parts.
