(74,939 posts)The entire population of the county is around 950k.
432,000 is 45% of the entire population!
Take away everyone under 18, and this approaches 60% turnout, with 2 days to go!

(365 posts)Donate to Joe or phone bank for Joe if you're worried. I'm not worried because I know we are working as hard as we can. I also hate how the media likes to put the onus on African American voters when we keep telling people that most African Americans are voting in person tomorrow so their votes will count.

(5,332 posts)Biden doesn't have this in the bag. As with a lot of places, it's about turnout. And there are lots of obstacles in the way of the liberal areas of the state voting.

(5,332 posts)Where did you live? I expect if you lived in Madison or parts of Milwaukee, it might seem that way. I live in NE Wisconsin. There is a LOT of support for Trump up here.
I'm not saying Trump will win, but it isn't in the bag for Biden. I expect it will come to turnout. Will the liberal areas of Madison/Milwaukee turn out in bigger numbers than the rest of Wisconsin.

(5,332 posts)This is about what I expected.

(71,262 posts)It will be close but then if you care to check you will discover this is not the closest race in the last 20 years.

(5,332 posts)I said, as someone who actually lives in non-Madison/Milwaukee that it was going to be close and you let me know how wrong I was. I was just reminding you that I was, in fact, correct. This is still a very divided state. ETA: you didn't just say that I was wrong, you said that it was "bullshit" that it was going to be close.

(12,254 posts)Between 8-13 points ahead. Biden is winning the state, in the same way he'll win Michigan and ultimately Pennsylvania. If anything, 538 has been very cautious this cycle. Any site or pundit saying Biden is losing is simply attempting to raise the chaos/fear/propaganda quotient.
We're winning this thing! Bank on it.
