I don't mean to be rude, but what the fuck is "Daughters Day"???

I thought it was their day everyday. Yes. We have a daughter, who lives the life of Riley.

https://www.nationaldayarchives.com/day/national-daughters-day/
"What is the reason this day was created? The initial reason for creating National or International Daughters Day was to erase the stigma in some countries attached to having a girl instead of a boy child. But in developed countries Daughters Day is a day to celebrate the joy and wonder of having a baby girl and raising a daughter."

It's the day where Catholics commemorate St. Patrick and his work in driving the daughters out of Ireland.

Oh yeah, we already have two of those. Otherwise, what is the point.

I did not mean this as a snipe at you, just can’t believe there is such a thing.

I don't consider that a snipe as I didn't give my personal opinion of the day.
I speak with my daughter almost every day - she knows that I think that she's the world to me, no need for another "special day."

I'm just sad that Talk Like a Pirate Day is the day after my birthday.
That would be way cool!

It was never a day to celebrate here until Facebook users made it a thing.
