6. Interesting division of the nation into various regions.

Not knowing its source, but curious about that, just one state stands out to me as being “out of place,” so to speak. I think that LA has more in common with ArkLaTex than with the Deep South (principally because LA is heavily reliant on the petrochemical industry in a way that the rest of the Deep South is not).

Either way, interesting poll.

I'm a born and raised Jersey boy. I then went to NY, then CT, then MA and then Ohio where I was when I joined DU. I then went back to MA, then back to NJ and now reside in the great state of Colorado... I'm very happy here and do not expect to move to any other state.
