If Trump could pardon these criminals, they wouldn’t need to throw the full weight of the government at Roger Stones sentencing.
I think a lot of the crimes against the USA that are being committed daily have to do with making sure those in the know keep quiet.
I believe a lot of the Ukraine debacle was to keep Manafort’s dirty deeds hidden, and look what they threw at that. A partial list: Trump, Pence, Barr, Rudy, Pompeo, Sondland. A “who’s who” of bad actors. No way that was all about Joe Biden.
They really don’t want Stone or Manafort to squeal.
